Do & Go demonstration8 min plan

“Flat roots, dry ends, dinner in 20. I only have dry shampoo and a curling iron.”

The read

The crown needs lift. The dry lengths do not need a second problem.

Best move

Refresh the roots. Leave the dry lengths alone.

  1. 01Set the iron aside until fully dry hair and suitable protection are confirmed.
  2. 02Refresh roots in sections. Wait, massage, and shape with your hands.
  3. 03Stop when the root and silhouette look intentional.

No invented tool. No casual heat on dry ends.

The answer should change when the hair context changes

Five real decisions, not five versions of the same curling-iron plan.

Example plan · fine or flat hairDinner in 20. Flat roots, dry ends, dry shampoo and a curling iron.Best moveRefresh the roots. Leave the dry lengths alone.
The read
The crown needs lift. The vulnerable lengths do not need more heat.
Why this differs
The plan changes because the ends feel dry and no protectant was named.
8 min planDry shampooHands
  1. 01Set the iron aside
  2. 02Refresh roots in sections

Limit: Assumes no scalp irritation. Add dryness, recent heat, and protectant details before reconsidering heat.

Ask this kind of question
Example plan · curls or coilsDay-three definition is compressed. Water and leave-in are available.Best moveRefresh only the sections that changed.
The read
Some curl groups need moisture. The whole pattern does not need rebuilding.
Why this differs
This answer protects existing definition instead of brushing, raking, or restarting wash day.
10 min planWaterLeave-inHands
  1. 01Find the flat curl groups
  2. 02Glaze, scrunch, then stop touching

Limit: Use the leave-in label and keep the sections that still look good untouched.

Ask this kind of question
Example plan · colour-treated endsShould I use heat? My colour-treated ends feel rough.Best moveSkip direct heat today.
The read
Condition and missing protection narrow the safe margin.
Why this differs
The decision changes with complete dryness, recent heat, protectant directions, and the condition of the ends.
5 min decisionNo new tool required
  1. 01Leave vulnerable ends alone
  2. 02Choose a clean part or loose no-heat shape

Limit: This is conservative styling guidance, not a diagnosis or a universal temperature rule.

Ask this kind of question
Example plan · protective style or extensionsMy braids feel tight and my scalp is tender.Best moveLoosen the tension and stop styling.
The read
Tension is the problem. Styling over it would hide the warning.
Why this differs
Pain, pulling, sores, swelling, or shedding need relief and professional help, not polish.
Act nowNo hot toolNo added product
  1. 01Release pressure if safe
  2. 02Contact the installer or a qualified professional

Limit: Seek medical care for worsening pain, sores, swelling, bald patches, or significant shedding.

Ask this kind of question
Example plan · post gymMy scalp is sweaty, comfortable, and my curls still look good.Best moveDry the scalp, reassess, and preserve the pattern.
The read
A comfortable scalp does not automatically require a full reset.
Why this differs
Odour, itch, tenderness, buildup, or an installed style would produce a different answer.
6 min planCool air or towelHands
  1. 01Press moisture from the roots
  2. 02Leave intact curls alone

Limit: If the scalp smells different, itches, or hurts, clean it appropriately instead of covering it with dry shampoo.

Why the plan is believable

The limits are part of the answer.

01

Shelf fidelity

The plan uses the tools and products you name. It does not smuggle in a dryer, brush, protectant, or styling product.

02

Visible assumptions

Condition, time, environment, and missing context stay editable instead of becoming hidden facts.

03

Different hair, different judgment

Curls, coils, protective styles, extensions, fine hair, dense hair, colour history, and no-heat days change the route.

04

Safety boundaries

Damp-hair heat, gummy hair, shedding, scalp symptoms, and tension stop the styling plan when styling is not the right answer.

One consultation, three moves

Begin before the mirror becomes a negotiation.

  1. 01

    Say what is happening

Add condition, texture, time, tools, products, and the finish you want. A messy sentence is fine.

  2. 02

    Get the best call

See the read, the reasoning, assumptions, a realistic time, and one step at a time.

  3. 03

    Correct the record

Make it easier, save the plan locally, and explicitly record whether it worked. Nothing is silently promoted into a permanent truth.

Hair File and Past Looks

Local memory that says exactly what it knows.

Hair File stores structured facts you explicitly tell Do & Go. Past Looks stores plan snapshots you choose to save. Outcome feedback records your own yes, mostly, or no for that local plan.

  • No account and no cross-device sync
  • No photo fact is added to Hair File
  • Delete saved looks or clear Hair File at any time
  • Corrupt or full browser storage fails safely

Reasonable questions

Before you trust it with today’s hair.

Will it understand hair like mine?

The consultation asks for texture, density, condition, colour history, protective styles, extensions, scalp comfort, time, tools, and desired finish when those details change the call.

Will it make me buy products?

No. It starts with the shelf you name. A missing item is shown only when it materially changes the plan, and the plan still gives a workable route when possible.

What if the plan is too hard?

Use Make it easier, change the assumptions, or say you are out of time. Do & Go will compress the plan around the highest-impact steps.

Are photos uploaded?

A text plan does not require a photo. Selected photos display locally. They are sent only if you explicitly request an available personal preview, and the interface says when that provider is unavailable.

Does it remember what worked?

Hair File keeps facts you explicitly stated. Past Looks keeps plan snapshots you choose to save in this browser. After a plan, you can record whether it worked, also on this device.

Is this generic AI?

The engine routes hair loss, tension, scalp symptoms, chemical damage, damp-hair heat, texture preservation, inventory, and time constraints before it builds a plan.
